McIntosh Reserve
COMPLETION IN 2023

McIntosh Reserve covers 6 hectares along the north-east boundary. A rich ecosystem of native plants and wildlife, this reserve extends and connects the walking trails that weave through residential neighbourhoods. This is currently under development as part of stage five and due for completion in 2023.

Retirement Village

Currently in planning is a master planned retirement village which, once complete, will consist of 250+ apartments and villas, as well as an aged care facility. Subject to resource consent approval.

Beachgrove Commercial Shops

Amongst the commercial shopping area is provision for a vibrant neighbourhood cafe, with outdoor seating overlooking the playground, along with retail spaces and a medical centre. Subject to resource consent approval.

Active Explorers Pre School

Beautifully designed and well resourced with the latest equipment and plenty of outdoor space, Active Explorers Kaiapoi is a place where your child will grow and develop confidence.

Kaiapoi North Primary School

Kaiapoi North School is a public primary school catering to years 1-8 and currently home to 560 students. The school sits directly on Beachgrove’s eastern boundary. Please click the button below to view more information on the school.

Recreational Activities

Beachgrove is a central hub to an abundance of recreational activities including beach activities, walking and biking trails, a waterpark, fishing at the mouth of the river, golf at Kaiapoi Golf club and more! All just minutes from Beachgrove.

Location

Thanks to its location, Beachgrove benefits from well-established, generous green spaces and reserves that complement its leafy, country surroundings.

The development is situated just 900 metres from central Kaiapoi. So, while locals enjoy the advantages of a rural outlook and atmosphere, all the necessities of everyday life are just a few minutes away. For those working in the city, it’s a short 15-minute drive to Christchurch’s Central Business District, as a result of the new Christchurch Northern Corridor Motorway, substantially reducing travel times in and out of the city.

Families with young children are well catered for with an onsite childcare centre, Active Explorers, and easy access to neighbouring Kaiapoi North School. The Year 1-8 ‘full primary’ school is positioned directly on the development’s western boundary, just a quick walk through the back gate before the morning bell – the school run couldn’t be easier!
